Photographic Imagery

Here are my favourite images from my latest photoshoot:

I will be creating three different advertisements- so I am only going to be choosing three images out of this selection as my final ads. We had a minnie mouse theme to our photoshoot- which explains the ears!! I think this could make it tricky to work the images into a promotional advertisement as the ears might make it confusing although I am not keen to photoshop them out as they were the main inspiration for the shoot so I want to find a way to work them in! Ultimately I think they will give my final images a really good quirky twist!!

Some of the close up shots could work quite well as a makeup advertisement, however I am more interested in choosing a fashion brand as I think I have some really good full length and half body shots. My next step is to choose a brand that I will research more in depth.

One thing that I have to point out with my final look is that we made a fatal error of not bringing an iron/steamer to our shoot so the shirt is creased!! This will probably prevent me using it as one of my final adverts as it needs to look professional and clean. However i think I have enough images from my other three looks to make up for it!

My initial thoughts for brand ideas are the likes of New Look as the bright, white studio background reminds me of an advert they used with Alexa Chung:
