8:00 am in Preston

On my walk up to uni this morning I took some pictures of some of the outdoor promotions that I saw:

Adshels in the Guildhall shopping centre.

Not all forms of outdoor advertisements are particularly glamorous and this bin is an example of this. However bins are everywhere and if the same advert is on every or the majority of public litter bins they can subliminally stick in your mind. However I don't think I will be using a bin as my final form of outdoor advertising!

The examples of billboards, adshels, buses and banners above are all ideal for photoshopping my final images into to create my final three adverts. I have to use imagery I have taken myself to get a better print quality result on my final images- rather than the quality I would acheive by just using an image from Google. The most difficult pictures to get that will be decent enough to use in my final work, where the buses as they were obviously moving as I was trying to get the pictures. I managed to catch a few at traffic lights and got a few lucky snaps in there too! I didn't manage to find a taxi however, or more importantly a white taxi that would be suitable to use in photoshop.
